Customers travelling to Zanzibar, Tanzania, are advised to take note of a Travel Advisory issued by the Zanzibar Ministry of Health, effective from 21 May 2026. This follows the recent Ebola virus outbreaks in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda and applies at all ports of entry, including airports and seaports.

Requirements
- • The minimum education requirement is a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
- • CAA Commercial Pilot License.
- • Valid instrument rating.
- • ATPL or Frozen ATPL.
- • Must have a minimum of 1000 hours total time and 200 hours multi engine and 200 hours turbine. Or
- • For Airlink Connect First Officer to qualify as a First officer: Must have a minimum of 1000 hours total time and 200 hours multi engine and 200 hours turbine. Or
- • For Airlink Cadet to qualify as a First Officer, a minimum of 1000 hours on type is required excluding Sim time.
