Spreading our wings to Nairobi
We are spreading our wings with a new daily Johannesburg-Nairobi service, which will see it become the first private sector airline to offer flights on the route from 24 April 2023. We will provide much-needed competition and additional choices for business and leisure travellers. Kenya becomes the 15th country in Airlink’s comprehensive sub-Saharan route network and its third in East Africa. The service will be operated with Airlink’s comfortable and efficient state-of-the-art 98-seat Embraer E190 jetliners.
Flights to Madagascar Resume
The resumption of flights linking Johannesburg with Antananarivo follows the lifting of Madagascar’s COVID-19 travel restrictions and its subsequent ban on air services to and from South Africa.

We're Back in George
Airlink will re-introduce services between Cape Town and George on Monday 27 July 2020.
We are delighted to be able to resume our flights, in line with the reopening of this key Western Cape airport. We received many calls, mails and social media posts during the COVID lockdown enquiring as to when we would be able to resume our services and know that our flights can play an enabling role in the revival of the economy of the region.
Our initial re-introductory service will be significantly reduced relative to our normal pre-pandemic offering, with flight departure and arrival times aimed at satisfying our overnighting business and essential travel customers.
Flights will depart from Cape Town at 15h40 arriving at George at 16h35. The return flight from George will depart at 17h00 arriving at Cape Town at 18h00, operating initially on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
