  • Customers travelling to Zanzibar, Tanzania, are advised to take note of a Travel Advisory issued by the Zanzibar Ministry of Health, effective from 21 May 2026. This follows the recent Ebola virus outbreaks in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda and applies at all ports of entry, including airports and seaports.
  • In line with this advisory, the following mandatory measures will apply:

    Key Requirements:

    - Passengers must complete the mandatory online health form prior to departure: https://healthtravelznz.mohz.go.tz/traveller/
    - On arrival, passengers are required to complete a Traveller Surveillance Form (TSF) at immigration to support contact tracing efforts.
    - Airport staff will receive training on Ebola awareness, including transmission, symptoms, and preventive measures.
    - Hand sanitiser will be available at key passenger touchpoints, including check-in counters, lounges, boarding gates, and arrivals areas.
    - Frontline staff in direct contact with passengers will be equipped with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including masks.
