Cape Town to Mauritius

Hello! Bonzur! Allo! Airlink ready to greet Mauritius with non-stop flights from Cape Town.

10 June 2026, Johannesburg - Airlink, Southern Africa's premier airline will launch twice-weekly direct Cape Town - Mauritius flights from 02 October 2026.

Bookings are now open for flights on the route, which will be Airlink's first to the Indian Ocean island.

Mauritius's legendary beach resorts, golf courses and visa on arrival system for citizens of over 140 countries, continue to make it popular with tourists.

At the same time, the island nation's thriving sophisticated economy, which spans IT, financial services, textile manufacturing as well as traditional sugar farming and fishing - along with its tax and offshore business incentives - has transformed it into a key investment and trade centre.

Airlink will operate its brand new, state-of-the-art Embraer E195-E2 flagship aircraft on the new Mauritius service. They accommodate 124 passengers (12 business class and 112 economy) with only window and aisle seats - there are no middle seats on any Airlink flights.

"Our new flagship aircraft, the E195-E2, makes it possible for Airlink to conveniently connect Cape Town with Mauritius. Cape Town is also an important source market and connecting hub for leisure and business travel wanting to travel to the island while avoiding the hassle and additional time connecting in Johannesburg," said de Villiers Engelbrecht, Airlink CEO.

Cape Town is Airlink's second hub with domestic and regional flights as well as long-haul connections with Airlink's partner airlines from around the world.

Airlink's schedule for the route is being designed so that leisure travellers will be able to maximise their holiday time and for corporate travellers to enhance their business itineraries without disruptive middle-of-the-night or pre-dawn departures or arrivals.

Onboard Airlink flights, customers will be treated to complimentary meals and refreshments. Airlink's cabin configuration provides generous leg-room. All Airlink customers are also entitled to a 15kg sporting equipment allowance, in addition to 20kg free luggage allowance for discounted economy class tickets, and 30kg allocated for full-fare economy travellers.

To plan, book and manage Airlink journeys, customers should visit www.flyairlink.com, download the FlyAirlink smartphone app, or contact their travel agents.
