Airlink has suspended all flights to and from Hoedspruit in Limpopo due to severe floods, which have left many roads impassable and restricted access to the airport, which serves communities in the area as well as the nearby Kruger National Park and surrounding lodges and resorts. Flights will resume as soon as the relevant authorities declare it safe for the airport to resume operations. We are in constant liaison with local stakeholders, including SANParks and the various private lodges in the area, to assist passengers who are stranded at those destinations. Customers who are booked to fly to or from Hoedspruit this week will be updated as the situation evolves.

Service Disruption Notice: Flight Delays

Airlink advises customers that flights this afternoon and evening are delayed due to air traffic control constraints at Johannesburgโ€™s O.R. Tambo International Airport. The disruptions are caused by ATNS staffing shortages and the suspension or expiry of certain instrument flight procedures. These issues have led to departure delays, airspace restrictions, and some flight diversions, impacting the overall schedule. Airlink is working to recover operations and minimise delays. Updates will be shared via Airlinkโ€™s app, social media, and airport information screens.

Momentum Multiply Titans Take Preseason to St Helena

Momentum Multiply Titans Take Preseason to St Helena

August 18, 2025 โ€“ The Momentum Multiply Titans are breaking new ground this season, embarking on a preseason training camp in St Helena from 23 August to 30 August 2025.

The trip has been made possible through the unwavering support of Airlink, who have fully sponsored the teamโ€™s flights. As both a valued Titans partner and the only airline connecting St Helena to the world, Airlink has played a central role in making this remarkable camp a reality.

St Helena, a remote island with deep cricketing roots, offers the perfect blend of isolation and inspiration for a high-performance squad. โ€œSt Helena offers an environment that is increasingly rare in professional sport,โ€ said Sebastian Stent, Senior Marketing Manager at the Communications Hub of St Helena Government. โ€œThe islandโ€™s seclusion allows teams to focus completely on their preparations without distraction, while also enjoying the natural beauty, cultural heritage, and genuine hospitality of our community.โ€

Momentum Multiply Titans Head Coach, Rivash Gobind, expressed his excitement ahead of the camp: โ€œThis preseason trip to St Helena is an incredible opportunity for us as a team. The environment will allow us to focus on our cricket, strengthen our bonds as a squad, and challenge ourselves in new ways. We are extremely grateful to Airlink and all the partners involved for making this unique experience possible.โ€

The initiative was born out of the strong partnership between Titans Cricket and Airlink, with St Helenaโ€™s cricketing history providing a natural link. โ€œCricket is rumoured to be the first sport played on the island as far back as 1844,โ€ added Stent. โ€œWith support from Mantis St Helena and Sure St Helena, the camp quickly became a venture with incredible potential for everyone involved.โ€

While the primary focus will be on intense training, the players and staff will also have opportunities to immerse themselves in the islandโ€™s unique experiences โ€“ from marine safaris and fishing excursions to the famous 699-step Jacobโ€™s Ladder challenge. These activities promise to strengthen team spirit while giving the squad a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

For the Titans, this camp marks an opportunity to prepare for the season in an environment that fosters focus, growth, and cohesion.

For St Helena, hosting the team highlights the islandโ€™s ability to welcome high-profile groups while showcasing its extraordinary natural and cultural assets to a global audience.

The Momentum Multiply Titans thank Airlink for their commitment and vision in helping create a preseason unlike any other.
