Frequently Asked Questions - Check-In
Passenger must present themselves for check-in at the designated check-in counter no later than the time stipulated below before the scheduled departure time of the flight as indicated on the Passenger's Ticket.

Should you need to offload yourself after you have already checked-in for the flight, please follow the below steps:
- Go to the following link: Check-in.
- Insert Surname and e-ticket / Reference number, select enter to proceed.
- Click on cancel check-in.
Please note, this must be done 1 hour before flight departure time.
The above does not cancel your booking, you will still need to cancel your booking. For bookings made via a Travel Agent, please contact your Travel Agent. For bookings made through the Airlink website, call centre or office, please proceed to Manage My Booking.
Online check-in opens 24 hours before your flights scheduled time of departure and closes 60 minutes before scheduled flight departure.
Airlink shall only provide carriage to the Passenger named on the Ticket, provided that each Passenger produces a valid Government issued Passport or South African Identity Document (applicable only for flights operating within the borders of South Africa).
Children must have a Birth Certificate or a certified copy of one. This does not need to be an Unabridged Birth Certificate.
Certified copies of ID cards or driver`s licences may be accepted for domestic travel. A certified copy is only valid for three months from the date of issue.
Carrying alcohol is subject to Covid-19 travel restrictions. Alcoholic beverages in checked baggage may not exceed 5L and may not exceed 70% alcohol volume.
