Requirements

  • The minimum education requirement is a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.

  • A minimum pass in English on the Higher-Grade D or Standard Grade C.

  • A valid CAA Flight Attendant License will be advantageous.

  • Must have reliable transport.

  • Must be medically fit.

  • Are able to work on her own and without supervision.

  • Are physically fit.

  • Are well groomed.

  • Have weight proportional to height, minimum of 1.55m and not taller than 1.73m

  • Have a caring disposition and good communication skills in English.

  • Are able to undergo an extremely intensive training programme of approximately six weeks, a series of assessments, interviews.

  • Shall undergo a security check, a medical examination, psychometric and psychological evaluation.

  • Have the ability to swim.

  • Are South African nationals and holders of valid South African identity documents.

  • Reside within a reasonable distance of the airport.

  • Will attend training as and when required to do so.

Requirements

  • Completed recognized Apprenticeship and holds a trade certificates.

  • A valid A and C SACAA License will be advantageous.

  • CATS & CARS and Human Factors courses.

  • A Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.

  • Good Aircraft Maintenance experience and troubleshooting skills.

  • Gas Turbine, turbo prop, turbo fan and general airframe experience.

  • Engine experience is essential.

  • The candidate must hold a tertiary qualification in Aviation Quality Management or,

  • Hold a relevant engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical or Aeronautical) or,

  • Hold or have held an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license.

  • Must have a broad knowledge in the principles and best practices of aircraft maintenance planning activities.

  • Must be conversant with MPD, MRBR, SB and AD documentation.

  • Must have a broad knowledge of the SA Civil Aviation Act, No 13 of 2009, Civil Aviation Regulations, 2011, Technical Standards and Guidance Material.

  • Knowledge of EASA Part M is required.

  • Knowledge of associated activities such as MSG-3 analysis and Industry Steering Committee that contribute to the continuing airworthiness management of aircraft will be advantageous.

  • Knowledge of the EMRO system or similar CAMO/MRO software packages is a strong advantage.

  • A minimum of 8 years post qualification experience is required for Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license holders.

  • Ratings appropriate to the aircraft being managed is required for Pilot license holders.

  • A minimum of 5 years post graduation

  • Candidates shall meet tertiary qualification requirements or have received tertiary training appropriate to the role, in one of the following forms: i. Holding or, alternatively, holding records to confirm having previously held an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license, issued in terms of Part 66 of the SA CARs, or an equivalent qualification; ii. Holding or, alternatively, holding records to confirm having previously held a pilot license and ratings appropriate to the aircraft being managed; or iii. Hold a relevant engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical or Aeronautical).

  • Must have a broad knowledge in the principles and best practices of aircraft maintenance planning activities.

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Planner AND; i. A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience is required for Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license holders. ii. Ratings appropriate to the aircraft being managed is required for Pilot license holders. iii. A minimum of 1 year post graduation experience in an aviation maintenance environment is required for engineering degree holders. b) Candidates that do not qualify in terms of the stipulated tertiary requirements who have a minimum of 5 years experience of Airworthiness

  • The minimum education requirement is a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.

  • b) Candidates shall meet tertiary qualification requirements or have received tertiary training appropriate to the role, in one of the following forms: i. Holding or, alternatively, holding records to confirm having previously held an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license, issued in terms of Part 66 of the SA CARs, or an equivalent qualification; ii. Holding or, alternatively, holding records to confirm having previously held a pilot license and ratings appropriate to the aircraft being managed; or iii.
