COMPANY: S A AIRLINK (PTY) LTD.
JOB TITLE: REVENUE CLERK
DIVISION: FINANCE DEPARTMENT
LOCATION: S A AIRLINK BUILDING, NORTHERN PERIMETER ROAD, BONAERO PARK
REPORTS TO: FINANCIAL CONTROL MANAGER
1. Purpose
1. Flown Revenue:
a. Receive flight documents according to timetable from SA Airlink Branches.
b. Ensure that all flight documents are being received from branches and Submitted on time.
c. Check that flight coupons correspond to uplift summary form.
d. Ensure that total number of paper coupons and electronic tickets agree with the total number of passengers as per the flight manifest.
e. Follow up on any discrepancies, missing coupons and related flight documents.
f. List all flights received from branches and send to SAA on a daily basis.
g. Follow up on outstanding flights as per lists received from SAA.
h. Follow up on any discrepancies reported by SAA.
2. Daily sales:
a. Receive and record daily sales reports and submit to SAA.
b. Copy sales reports from regional branches and file for record purposes.
c. Follow up on any discrepancies on sales reports reported by SAA.
3. Daily Revenue:
a. Update daily revenue sheet with figures from Control Department, required for weekly Executive meeting on TM1.
b. Compare daily revenue figures captured on TM 1 to daily flight master.
c. Compare figures recorded on TM1 to passengers accounted by SAA.
4. Assist the Financial Control Manager with various ad hoc tasks.
5. Responsibilities must be carried out in accordance with Company Standards and Occupational Health and Safety Standards.
2. Knowledge, Skills and Experience
1. The minimum education requirement is a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
2. A minimum of 0 to 1 year working experience.
3. Computer literate on Microsoft Word, Excel and E-mail is essential.
4. Accuracy of work is critical.
5. Must be meticulous, accurate, precise, thorough and logical.
6. Must be able to work under pressure and be self motivated.
